As we reach the midway point of Term 4, we have been really impressed with some excellent results in Basketball, Cricket and Junior Water Polo. With two more rounds to go until finals, we are hoping we will be in contention for some more pennants to finish the year strongly!

Siena Fit Club continue to run on Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes in the weights room. Nardelli Coaching have been running some fantastic sessions and we would encourage more students to attend. It is an excellent opportunity to improve your strength and conditioning as well as reduce the risk of any potential injuries.

Congratulations to Holly Niewenhuizen who represented Siena College at the Victorian All Schools Track and Field Championships. Despite a leg injury, she came sixth in the 100m, fifth in the shot put and second in the javelin. We look forward to following Holly’s continued success in athletics in the future.

In addition, I would like to congratulate Jada Kennedy, Emma McDonald and Erin McAlary who were part of the winning Magic Under 14 Girls Basketball team that won Gold at the Australian Club Championships in Ballarat. An excellent achievement and thoroughly well deserved.
