Sporting News

All Term 3 Girls Sport Victoria (GSV) fixtures have now commenced with some excellent results so far. We wish the Aerobics squad the best of luck for Friday, 2 August in the Victorian AeroSchools State Championship at the Community Bank Stadium. In addition, good luck to the Intermediate Basketball team in the Championship Cup tournament at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) on Thursday, 2 August.

We would like to recognise the following recent individual achievements of Trinity Williams, Victoria Zikas and Emali Goulas who will be travelling overseas from 7-17 August, to participate in the Gothia Cup (an international soccer tournament in China). They will be playing for Box Hill United in their Under 16 women’s squad. The tournament comprises teams from across the world, with Box Hill United being in a six team pool with Swedish and Chinese teams. We look forward to following the students’ progression throughout the tournament.

A reminder to parents to please ensure that you have given permission for your daughter to participate in Term 3 GSV Sport via Caremonkey. Without permission we are unable to transport your daughter to an external venue.

Please continue to email the sport department (sport@siena.vic.edu.au) of any notable sporting achievements your daughter is involved in outside of school so we can continue to recognise these girls. For any further information regarding Siena College Sport, please visit the Siena Central Sport page.
